About the Item
This is a pair of 1940's Marcel Boucher sterling silver clip-on earrings, each with three prong set faceted Amethyst glass stones. This rare find hinged drop earrings are signed on the clip backs Parisina Sterling Mexico.
Marcel Boucher trained and worked at Cartier in their Paris shop. He left for Taxco to be among some of the most creative thinkers in artistry at the time. He opened a shop in Taxco named Parisina. He was not in Taxco long so finding pieces of his marked Parisina are real treasures.
