About the Item
A beautiful pair of amber earrings from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, each oval-shaped earring features a large amber cabochon. The amber stones are held within a smooth and simple bezel setting, and displays a lovely reddish-orange hue. The back of each earring features a simple clip, which is marked with a maker's mark which reads: "AMD", a "G", a "925" purity mark, and a small motif of a woman's side profile. These hallmarks indicate that the earrings were crafted in Denmark. A fabulous pair, these earrings would be perfect for any amber or Retro jewelry lover!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 1/8" long and have a width of 7/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting amber cabochons. The earring clip backs are secure and in working order.
