About the Item
A lovely pair of agate and pearl earrings from the Victorian (Ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, each earring begins with a banded agate bead, which displays a deep brownish-black hue with white marbling. The earrings then feature an arch-shaped link, which is decorated with bead-set seed pearls. The pearls display an incredible milky white luster, which pairs wonderfully with the yellow gold detailing. The earrings then feature a large inverted teardrop-shaped banded agate link, which features white marbling. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. A bold pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 2 5/8" in length (including the earring wires) and have a width just under 1/2" at their widest point.
Condition: The earrings are in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The agate stones and pearls are all secure and intact, and the earring wires are attached and in working order.
