A pair of Victorian amethyst drop earrings in 15 karat yellow gold
Designed as pair of pendant drops, in detailed open back bezel settings, with alternating round and oval cut amethysts, the earrings terminating with a pair of deep rich purple oval cut stones, for a total of 10.94 carats approximately.
Finished with screw back fittings for non pierced ears
Stamped '15ct' to the reverse of one of the fittings
These would be perfect to give colour to any outfit - be it night or day, the light in the open backed settings illuminating the deep purple colour of the amethysts beautifully.

Condition - Overall the condition of the earrings is very good, with some slight abrasions to the surface of the gold in keeping with their general age
