About the Item
This is a beautiful pair of emerald and diamond earrings from the Victorian era. The earrings are crafted in 18ct yellow gold and feature a central Colombian emerald surrounded by a horseshoe of old cut diamonds.
The horseshoe is a symbol of good luck and protection. It dates back to a blacksmith and his dealings with the devil.
A wonderful and rare pair of earrings that feature a secure post and hinge fitting.
