About the Item
This well made pair of extra-large 18K yellow gold hoop earrings by the fine, Italian maker Unoaerre, are ideal for casual wear. Measuring 2 3/8 inches in diameter by just under a quarter inch thick, they are a substantial pair of earrings. The twisted rope design has a beautiful polish, and the hinged posts snap securely into their receivers. Unlike many tubular hoop earrings of this type, this pair differs because the end of each tube is capped with a polished gold plate, indicating the high quality of a finished piece of jewelry. They are a very comfortable pair of earring to wear. Unoaerre derives their prestigious name from the fact that they were the first jewelers to register in Arezzo. The posts are stamped 750 indicating 18K gold, the Italian regional mark for Arezzo, and the maker's mark for Unoaerre. Gross weight 16.5 grams.
