This rare pair of 14kt gold hoop earrings dates back to the second decade of the nineteenth century.
The hoops feature each five embossed scallops decreasing in size.
This timeless but wearable earrings have been much loved and worn. That makes them all the more special, they are witnesses to a period we can only speculate about.
