Pair of hoops earrings designed by Hammerman Brothers.
This is a beautiful pair of hoops earrings created in New York City by the American jewelry designers of Hammerman Brothers, back in the 1970. The earrings were designed as a left and right pair in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and embellished with a great assortment of one-hundred-eight natural white colorless diamonds and twelve vivid red rubies. They are fitted at the reverse with gold posts for pierced ears and hinged omega backs for fastening clips.
Diamonds: Mounted in pave settings, with 108 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, with a total weight of about 1.12 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS clarity.
Rubies: Mounted in channel settings, with 12 calibrated princess cut red rubies, with a total weight of about 0.60 carats.
Birthstone: Rubies for the month of July.
Weight: 8.85 Grams, (5.70 Dwt.).
Measures: 20 mm by 6.2 mm (0.79 x 0.24 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the designer's logo, the mark for the assay and warranty of the .750/.999 gold and signed as follows, "HB 18KT .750 1-2".
Hammerman Brothers
The company was founded by Benjamin, Bernard, and Hyman. They were descended from an eastern European family of goldsmiths who excelled in the art of jewelry and watchmaking. Before they serve in the us army in the world war II, the brothers worked in the bowery in New York city, which at that time was a significant diamond center. In 1946 the brothers decided to go into the jewelry business for themselves in New York city.

This is a beautiful pair of clips-on earrings created in New York City by George Schuler during the post war period, back in the 1950. These earrings have been crafted in the shape of organics leaves in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with high textured surfaces and embellished with twenty-four natural earth mined vivid red rubies. They are fitted at the reverse with the iconic Schuler backs and gold posts for pierced ears. George Schuler, designed many similar pieces like this for the jewelry houses of Cartier, Tiffany & Co. and VCA in New York. All his models and designs, always include these iconic clips backs, which were patented by him in 1942.
Rubies: Mount in channels settings, with 24 graduated round faceted cut of natural vivid red rubies with a total weight of about 0.72 carats.
