Modernist fluted hoops earrings made in Italy.
These are a gorgeous pair of vintage fluted hoops earrings, created in Italy back in the 1970. The earrings has been crafted as a left and right in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. They are embellished in a shrimp caged style with a great pair of carved chalcedonies and are fitted with hinged omega backs for fastening clips. The addition of gold posts for pierced ears may be easily done.

Period: Modernism, 1970.
Gemstones: Mounted in caged settings, with 2 fluted cabochons cut carved from natural blue-gray translucent chalcedonies.
Birthstone: Chalcedony for the month of May.
Weight: 46.5 Grams, (29.82 Dwt).
Measurements: 32 mm by 17 mm by 28 mm (1.26 x 0.67 x 1.10 Inches).
Hallmarks: They are both stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of and warranty of the .750/.99 gold and signed as follows, "ITALY 18KT".
Collateral: These earrings are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this Italian fluted earrings is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 2 chalcedonies are secured in their settings. This pair has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
