About the Item
Absolutely fantastic and unusual gold and pearl hoop earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Each earring is crafted in 14k gold, and features a horseshoe-shape. The surface of each earring is decorated with 9 small pearls, which are strung on thing gold wire and can rotate freely within their individual circular frames. The pearls vary slightly in size and shape, but each has a wonderful, eye-catching luster. The remaining surface of each hoop is adorned with a unique scrolling-motif cutout design. The earrings secure with latch backs. A wonderful pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special event!
Measurements: Each earring hangs slightly more than 1 1/4" long and measures 1" at the widest point of the hoop. Each earring has a depth of a little under 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold hoops and the latch backs are in working order. All of the pearls are secure and intact.
