About the Item
Beautiful diamond and demantoid earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each of these exquisite Etruscan-style earrings is crafted in 18k vibrant yellow gold. The earring begins with a dome-shaped link, which features a central flower motif. The dome is decorated with intricate Etruscan-style wirework and raised details. Three dangling components hang from the dome, and each feature a stone held within a four-prong setting. Each links features a demantoid, which, together, have an approximate total carat weight of 2ctw, and display a lovely light green hue. The central component features an additional mine cut diamond, which has a carat weight of .70ct. The bottom of each link features a teardrop-shaped gold link, which is smooth and simple. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. A colorful pair, these dangle earrings would make a wonderful addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/2" long, is 5/8" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, Etruscan wirework, or earring wires. All of the stones are secure and intact.
