About the Item
These bold, geometric and unique earrings feature square, slightly wavy plates of pure 14 karat yellow gold with a hammered texture on one side and diamond pavé center triangle.
Each coin-edged triangle is set with ten round brilliant cut diamonds. Each diamond is 2.5mm, for a total diamond weight of 1.2 carats. The diamonds are all natural, earth-mined and untreated. They are also very good quality; we rate them at least VS1 clarity and G-H color.
The plates are 1mm thick and each side is about 28.5mm (just over one inch) long. The way the posts are oriented, these earrings hang from point to point, and this length is about 36mm (just under 1.5").
Originally clip-ons, we converted them to posts with lever backs to keep them in place. If you would prefer traditional butterfly (aka tension) closures, just let us know. We'll make this change at no cost in exchange for keeping the hardware, and will include 14 karat gold butterfly backs. (And if you would prefer traditional clip-ons, we can do that too!)
Stamped on the back "LP" and "14K," these earrings were made in 1994 by Lawrence Poon of La Jolla, California.
