These contemporary Fig cocktail earrings are made of 18 karat rose gold with tender frosted rose onyx. The collection was featured in Harper's Bazaar UA editorial and a published issue. The earrings were chosen by actress Anne Ratte-Polle to wear on the 64th Berlinale Film Festival red carpet.
The fig fruits are unique hand-made sculptures of the sweetest southern figs, which grow on elegant twigs of trees with long needles and leaves. They usually have a tender green or rose tone when the fruits are green, but later, some of them turn into a dusty dark purple-black color when exposed to the sun. Therefore, this model also exists in frosted dark amethysts.
The elegant and accurate needles refer to the traditional calligraphy principle of 'lines and spots.' The earrings reflect the art nouveau plant motifs and have a timeless look. The frosted figs are open to the light and look exquisite.
