About the Item
These Plum Blossom stud earrings feature a modern style and are made of 18-karat yellow gold. They are adorned with 10 round diamonds and removable drops of natural tourmalines (approximately 8 carats, 10 or 14 mm) that can be taken off. This jewellery collection, designed by Berlin-based oil painter Polya Medvedeva, was featured in Vogue UA.
The sculptural design of the earrings adds extra highlights to the surface of the gold, while the diamonds add delicate blinks and the cabochon drops allow light to penetrate them fully. The drops can be exchanged for other semi-precious or precious gem drops.
We use top-quality natural diamonds VS, F-G, and work with a German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
These earrings best suit classic, dramatic, romantic, and natural faces according to the Kibbe test. They are custom hand-made, and you can contact the artist to order them in white or yellow gold, or as a clip-on pair.
The plum blossom symbolises the energy of life, as these trees bloom at the end of winter. The composition of these flowers reflects the modern style of these earrings.

One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
