“I’ve always admired the glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Age, but much of its jewelry feels too extravagant for modern life. Colored gems were often lost among the sea of diamonds, their natural beauty overshadowed. I wanted to create pieces where the gem takes center stage—bringing Old World glamour into a modern context, while staying relevant for the generations to come.”

After years of pursuing a safer career path, Konstantinovsky's love for gems was rekindled upon discovering tsavorite garnet. This transformative moment inspired her to research and collect rare, high-quality gemstones. As she honed her knowledge, she began designing jewelry that showcased her beloved gems. With the pandemic and war in Ukraine as clarifying reminders of life's brevity, Konstantinovsky finally introduced her fine jewelry line, Sonya K. Her designs emphasize clean lines, impactful color, and timelessness, with a focus on rare gemstones and bold diamonds. Konstantinovsky's enthusiasm for beauty is contagious, and her jewelry is crafted to be wearable, fun, and exciting.
