About the Item
Two deep blue, unheated sapphires sit central in this beautiful pair of earrings dating back to the Victorian period. These sapphires are oval cut stones weighing 0.65 carat a piece. Enveloping each Sapphire and creating a stunning contrast between the two stones is a cluster of old cut diamonds. Totalling 0.50 carat per ear these diamonds are G to H in colour and SI in clarity. All the stones have been set into 18 carat yellow gold. These earrings are held onto the ear with pressure backs meaning pierced earrings are not essential to enjoy this wonderful piece.
