This extravagant and unusual hair comb was hand crafted in 1875 ca. The hairornamet is designed as a bow. The finely carved bow is decorated with gold piqué work. Small gold ornaments have been applied onto the horn into previously engraved ornaments. The bow is attached to the comb with by means of a of hinge made out of horn.. this exquisite piece in in fine order.
