About the Item
This is stunning antique Native American Navajo Turquoise and Coral Belt Buckle with beautiful hand stamped and applied designs in a flower motif in Sterling Silver. The buckle is signed F S and has the hallmark of the fallen indian on horseback.
The early belt buckle is a wonderful size of 2 1/8 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches wide. The buckle is very heavy silver with beautiful applied flower and leaf forms with hand stamped designs. The Turquoise is a gorgeous cabochon of 30mm in length. It has beautiful color and wonderful natural veining. The coral is a fabulous long branch of 30mm in length. The hand applied and stamped adornments in the silver are dramatic and of great artistry. The buckle is an early piece of Navajo jewelry.
The buckle is signed F S with a hallmark of the fallen Indian on horseback.
The buckle has strong clean lines and wonderful detailing with the very finest of turquoise and coral. The extraordinary color and variation within the turquoise is exquisite. This very special buckle will be a cherished addition to your collection of fine vintage Southwest and Native American jewelry.
