This fine and impressive antique Victorian brooch has been crafted in 9k yellow gold with a silver setting. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a chick, accented with textured details reproducing the bird's plumage and anatomical features. The body of the chick is represented by a fine and impressive silver set blister pearl. The chick's eye is represented by a 0.02ct round faceted cut ruby, in a silver collet setting. The head, wings, and legs of the chick are are ornamented with forty-four pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, totaling 0.33ct. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin fastening. This is a beautiful example of a fob. The chalcedony on the bottom is in pristine condition. The deep scroll work is as beautiful today as it was when it was made. It looks like it went into someones jewelry box to only emerge recently. There is a lovely patina, born from age. A fine and impressive vintage 0.79 carat sapphire and seed pearl, 9 karat yellow gold star brooch in the Victorian style; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. This fine and impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in 9k yellow gold. The vintage brooch setting has been modelled in the form of a sixteen-pointed star / double octagram, in the antique Victorian style. The brooch is ornamented with a feature pearl to the center of the design, encompassed with seven claw set round faceted cut sapphires, totalling 0.79Ct. The eighteen alternating points of the star are embellished with an array of fifty-six seed pearls, graduating in size dependant on location. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp. The brooch is hallmarked with the maker's mark (H&T), 9k gold fineness mark (9, 375), the date letter for 1965 (K) and the London Assay Office mark (leopard's head). The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This stunning vintage star brooch is fine quality, set with impressive seed pearls and sapphires displaying fine color and brilliance. This stunning antique brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold with a silver setting. The antique brooch has been modelled in the form of a stylised bee/winged insect. The thorax of the insect is ornamented with an old round cut synthetic* ruby, encircled with eleven diamonds in a combination of Old Dutch and Old round cut. The large striped abdomen of this stylised winged insect is defined with 15k yellow gold decorated borders and embellished further with Old Dutch and Old round cut diamonds, graduating in size depending on location. The paired, pierced decorated wings are embellished with curvilinear bands incorporating one hundred and eighty-seven diamonds. The head of this impressive insect brooch is embellished with an Old Dutch cut diamond, accented with two cabochon synthetic ruby representing the eyes.
