About the Item
Necklace featuring a double strand of pearly creamy-white oriental round cultured pearls. The most important pearls are located on the clasp.
The clasp is in 18 karat yellow gold, owl hallmark. It is tonneau-shaped, ratcheted with security and set on its top with antique-cut diamonds.
Threaded necklace on new silk thread.
Authentic antique jewel - French work of the beginning of the 20th century.
Length : 37 cm approximately, height : 13.8 mm approximately, width : 8 mm approximately, thickness : 6 mm approximately.
Diameter of the pearls : 3/3,5 mm to 7,5/8 mm.
Total weight of the jewel : 22,7 g approximately.
Our opinion : This antique necklace is made from antique cultured pearls, some of the first to appear on the market in the early 20th century. They are therefore of the highest quality and have stood the test of time without damage. This necklace can be worn as a choker with a clasp on the front or a clasp on the nape of the neck.
