A substantial antique butterscotch amber bead necklace, dating to the interwar period, circa 1920s–1940s. Hand-strung from natural Baltic amber beads in a warm graduated palette ranging from soft honey to rich butterscotch tones.
The necklace is composed of smoothly polished oval beads, graduating to an impressive 2.2 cm central bead, giving the piece strong visual weight while remaining elegant on the neck. At 52 grams, the strand has the satisfying presence and depth of color associated with high-quality natural amber from this period.
The beads display gentle age-appropriate patina, consistent with early 20th-century hand finishing, and are strung at a wearable 70 cm length, allowing the necklace to be worn long or layered.
