Rosaline Necklace.
A gorgeous locket with a Sèvres style floral enamel painting serves as the design inspiration for this necklace. It was presented to me as a Art Nouveau compact - and indeed the reverse side is a beautiful Victorian Art Nouveau style. It may have been used as a compact for touching up makeup, but one has to also wonder if it could have been a dainty snuff box, replete with a mirror to check for any tell-tale signs of use. In any event, this mis-mash of style and potential uses has resulted in a charming and inspiring locket.
Richly colored teal apatite ovals have been hand linked with sparkling pink topaz rondelles flanked between creamy freshwater pearls stationed along the chain - to form a necklace that repeats the colors found in the enamel front of this locket. Married together with the stunning locket - this necklace is certain to become the topic of conversation and speculation about it’s original use.

Freshwater keishi pearls, with their gorgeous silky nacre, have been hand-linked with rhodium silver and juxtaposed with a jaw dropping Georgian Enamel Silver Paste Pendant. The rich cobalt blue enameled disc has been encased within a silver paste cartouche frame and accented with a feminine silver paste basket of flowers. Three little teardrops dangle from below the ornate frame. This unique necklace has been married to a frilled section of hand-linked rock crystal and kyanite rondelles and further enhanced with a grouping of pink sapphire flanked with pyrite in gold vermeil.
