About the Item
Elegant long sautoir of aquamarine crystals with pearls. The links in the piece are natural rare aquamarine crystals. The irregularities in the crystals really constitute the unique feature that gives interest and sparkle to this unusual piece.
The freshwater oval pearls add rhythm and contrast to the very long necklace. The pearls are lustrous and evenly matched..
The length makes this an extremely versatile piece. It may be worn full length, doubled, knotted and possibly be worn as three strands to create a striking chocker.
This was inspired by the long sautoirs of the 1920’s and 30’s with a very different take on materials.
The necklace terminates with a patinated sterling silver toggle clasp.
