About the Item
Presenting an antique 1930’s 73cm jadeite jade necklace, strung with graduated round beads from 3.6mm up to 8.9mm. The colour is soft, even and the strand has a solid presence at 56.8 grams. It is finished with a high carat gold engraved clasp, which is secure, well made and in great condition given the antique status. The jade beads have been examined by a qualified Gemmologist. Their internal structure, surface texture and optical behaviour are consistent with jadeite jade, so we are confident in the natural materials used.
It is a true classic, elegant Art Deco necklace with genuine quality in both materials and craftsmanship.
Note: string slightly loose in places but beads find their place without gaps which is normal over time. Can be restrung if you wish but it’s best left in its original form.
A piece that stands on its own and can be worn daily and on special occasions.
