About the Item
A charming and very unusual single row neckalce, composed of coloured Galalith beads and elements, plus some moulded celluloid elements too, with clear glass beads. Stepped beads and shapes created from celluloid and filigree gilt metal,softened with acid etched banded round beads, all give a very geometric Art Deco feel to the necklace. Most of the metal work is filigree or turned, with a typical French screw fitting clasp. Rich maroon, terracotta, and subtle sand coloured slices give the necklace a soft richness, a very Summery open air feel.
