About the Item
This colorful extra-long Bakelite and Lucite necklace features assorted beads in various carved shapes: round, tomato, and oval, some with carving and some with a pattern. The piece blends butterscotch, yellow saffron, orange marble, milky orange marble, and carnation orange colors with other vibrant, sunny hues. The citrus colors are contrasted with transparent yellow glitter and shaped transparent Lucite beads. This necklace hangs very nicely around the neck. There is no closing clasp on this necklace. The original beads were from the 1950s, and this necklace was rebuilt in the early 1980s. Measurements: The total length is 43.32 in (110 cm), and the drop is 20.5 in long (52 cm).
