About the Item
An exceptional necklace made from the metal orb charms of the Minangkabav people of West Sumatra. The charms are hand crafted from brass with a possible gold wash over them - they are likely from the early 20th Century. There is a lovely, subtle patina that will likely develop more with age. The Minangkabav charms are elaborate and substantial and make a truly stunning statement necklace, these beads are threaded through a custom hand braided rope built to stand the test of time and wear.
