About the Item
Eytan's design of cascading peperomia leaves is one he's used for many different pieces, but each piece is unique. This time, he's made it into a pendant with a faceted opal bead drop to serve as the centerpiece on a station necklace of black diamond and opal beads.
The opals are from Ethiopia and are predominantly golden orange with flashes of green and yellow. There are 18 opals averaging 0.35 carats each on the chain and one larger, 1.2 carat opal hanging from the bottom leaf.
The sparkly black diamond beads are 1.9mm to 2.2mm rondelles -- a total of 14.9 carats.
The necklace is 17" long and the pendant's total drop is 1.6".
Note that the pendant is not removable, though it can slide between the two center opal stations.
The leaves are 18 karat gold, hand-finished and signed by Eytan.
The necklace weighs 9.7 grams, and the gold weight (not including the 18 karat gold clasp and end ring) is 5.2 grams.
