About the Item
Chic and stunning single strand black, blue and gold gilt necklace.
This opera length necklace consists of sparkling black faceted rondelle beads punctuated by stations of large deep blue matte finished lapis lazuli round beads. The lapis beads are flanked by multi faceted matte finished gold gilt beads. The necklace is an overall dark tonality and the gold adds a nice punctuation. I purposely chose a matte finish on the gold to enhance but not overpower the subtle overall tone of the piece.
The necklace is joined by a blackened sterling silver hook and eye clasp. There again, I didn’t want to call attention where none was needed.
I think this is a versatile piece which could be worn casually even over a tee shirt or in the evening with a little black dress.
