About the Item
A lapis lazuli bead necklace with an 18 karat yellow gold clasp.
The lapis lazuli are double knotted for aesthetics and safety using dark blue thread to perfectly match the colour of the beads.
The circular beads are gently flecked with distincive gold flecks of pyrite throughout.
Lapis lazuli is a semiprecious stone prized for its deep blue colour.
Historically lapis lazuli has had associations with royalty, strength courage, wisdom and intellect, friendship and truth. It has often been believed to ward off evil.
The beaded necklace is finished with an elegant circular push piece wirework clasp of 18 karat yellow gold, stamped 750.
The necklace is entirely hand crafted by Michael Rose at our London based workshop.
