About the Item
Interesting and smart looking necklace of large rectangular freshwater Keshi pearls alternating with hand wrought heavy square spacers. The silver spacers are .975 silver which is more pure silver than sterling silver. The minimal number of alloys makes this silver less likely to tarnish quickly and is easier to polish.
The flat Keshi pearls have a beautiful luster as do the Keshi coin pearls. While more irregular than normal round pearls their textured surface allows the nacre to play with light. Unlike other pearls which have nacre only on the surface Keshi pearls are completely shimmering nacre.
The necklace is finished with a sterling silver stirrup shaped clasp.
