From the collection of writer Barbara Taylor Bradford OBE (Order of the British Empire) we have these two extraordinary and very rare matching Chanel Gripoix Glass and Faux Pearl Necklaces, signed Chanel and dated 1981, with their original Chanel Box. Each Chanel Gripoix Necklaces is designed as a long chain and the necklaces have matching designs in the setting and links of the gripoix stones. The shorter necklace is set with faux pearls, and colorless and green gripoix glass. It is 32 inches long closed. The second longer necklace is set with colorless, green, blue and red gripoix glass. It has a clasp and open it is 80 inches long, and is 39 inches long when closed. The gripoix glass and pearls are mounted in gold-tone metal. The Chanel tag is on the necklace with the faux pearls and is signed Chanel, 1981. The matching second necklace is also Chanel but does not have a Chanel tag. The two necklaces were purchased as a pair from Chanel. The necklaces are accompanied by their original signed box. The necklaces are guaranteed to be original Chanel period gripoix necklaces and from the estate of Barbara Taylor Bradford.
