About the Item
A delicate gold necklace of beads encrusted with golden strands that interweave and completely cover each bead. Without the help of a loup, the beads appear granulated as were their c.1870 etruscan revival cousins. The necklace, strung on strong gold chain, is a glow of warm gold color and texture. Wrap it twice at the wrist for a beautiful antique bracelet. We have seen necklaces such as this one in paintings from the early 1800's . Each golden orb measures 5.9mm. This necklace is for a small neck. The strand is 14 3/4 in long. Condition is excellent origin United States Weight 23.2 grams
