Vintage Anne Klein Couture Red and Diamante Necklace Circa 1980s. This necklace is magnificent. Anne Klein made very few couture pieces, and they are just couture at its best. I have one in my collection, and I'm not sure I'll ever part with it. They are rare to find and all unusual. This one is no exception. It is set on a gold base and features thick red beading with numerous well-made diamante rondelles of various sizes. It features a toggle closure and three rings, providing a size range of 18" to 19.25".
Anne Klein was the designer of the 1980s. Anne Klein's jewelry is/was highly coveted, as were her designs. Donna Karan was a designer at Anne Klein before starting her own company.
The vintage Anne Klein jewelry is always well-made and substantial; the couture line is exceptional.
