A fabulous and extraordinary layered beaded necklace, bold both in size and design. Its 10 voluptuous layers are strung with Italian-made plastic beads in a stunning soft sangria nuance. Five geometric flowers emerge in-between them, accented by rhinestone rondelles for a subtle touch of sparkle. The dynamic shapes and unusual colour of this beaded necklace create strong visual interest, ensuring this one-of-a-kind showstopper never goes unnoticed. This perfectly preserved statement piece was sourced from the estate of a remarkable American fashion designer and illustrator and comes in its original pouch. The large ovoid snap clasp is stamped Fiocchi Italy and is the signature clasp used by world-renowned Italian artist Angela Caputi. A celebrated and award-winning costume jewellery designer, Caputi has been creating unsigned jewellery since 1975 exclusively from Italian plastic or resin combined with other synthetic materials. Her distinct style is characterised by geometrical or smooth lines, marvellous colours, and heavily-researched details.
