A classic Victorian snake necklace, this item is made of graduated 18K gold chain with the snake's head and pendant enhanced with cobalt blue enamel, natural pearls and rubies.
From the mouth of the serpent dangles a heart-shaped pendant with a hair compartment in back. Circa 1860-80.
