We love a good longuard chain here, such a versatile and wearable piece of jewellery, this antique 9kt gold one is no exception.
You really can't go wrong with a good long chain as they can be worn in so many ways and adorned with so many different pieces to mix it up that you get endless amounts of wear out of them, not forgetting that they exude a timeless elegance when worn alone too!
However you like to wear yours this one is certainly a beauty, substantial squared belcher or rolo links in rich old yellow gold, it is nice length, easily wrapped over a few times and perfect carrying your larger pendants or lockets.
It has a 9kt gold dog clip fastener, marked 9ct.
A stunning chain, can be worn long or wrapped and is a very versatile and staple piece for your antique jewellery wardrobe!

Good used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, a few links with small dings / dents which can cause slight kinking, a couple of repaired links.

This exceptional, fine and impressive antique chain has been crafted in 9k yellow gold with a 10ct gold clasp.
The antique longuard chain necklace consists of rounded links.
By virtue of its length, this Victorian chain in gold may be worn as a two strand or three strand necklace, either with or without a pendant via the swivel clasp; alternatively the chain may be wrapped multiple times around the wrist to be worn as a bracelet.
The chain is hallmarked to the clasp with the fineness mark for 10ct gold mark (10) and the maker's mark (M&M), in addition to being independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 10 and 9k gold.
