A fine antique Edwardian longuard chain necklace.
The chain and clip are gold-filled; the slide in 14 karat yellow gold.
The slide with a bezel-set opal cabochon framed by gold leaf, berry, and flower devices.
Fixed with a dog-clip closure for a watch, lorgnette, pendant, or whatever the heart desires.
Simply a wonderful longuard chain necklace!
