About the Item
This outrageous silver necklace consists out of four rows of belcher chains and three ornamental plaques. A centre piece in the shape of a flower is decorated with embossed gilt ornaments and flowers made out of silver wire. They are grouped around a flower composed out of silver wire and a large round facetted garnet. A heart is suspended from the plaque. In the heart is an embossed round ornament which is surrounded by flowers made out of silver wire. In the top middle of the plaque is a further facetted round garnet. Two oval plaques on the sides of the necklace also show the same round flowers, only smaller. They are surrounded by very small flowers made out of silver wire as well as embossed round ornaments. The finely engraved oval clasp shows two pigeons sitting on a "wedding saw" that is cutting through two joined flaming hearts. The flames are rising up to a three-tiered crown.
