A fine antique Victorian Leontine chain necklace.
In 14k (slightly rose-tinted) gold.
With alternating single
double cable chain links.
Set with a rectangular slide with applied wire work and a dog clip and tassel terminals.
The a dog-clip closure allows for a watch, lorgnette, loupe, pendant or whatever the heart desires.
Apparently unmarked.
Simply a wonderful antique longuard chain!
