THIS IS A RARE MUSEUM QUALITY ART DECO CHAIN NECKLACE WITH THE MOST GORGEOUS LINKS IN SILVER AND ADORNED WITH RED GREEN AND BLACK ENAMEL AND MARCASITES OF GREAT BEAUTY. THE NECKLACE DATING TO CIRCA 1920.
It is very rare to find antique Art Deco enamel necklaces in silver. The combination of the gorgeous silver work with the magnificent enamel makes this such a special piece. The links have enamel decoration in red, green and black enamel with sparkling marcasites in the center. The design is quintessential Art Deco. The necklace is beautiful heavy silver.
