About the Item
A very unique pendant, it features a beautiful shield-cut blue zircon with uncut diamonds inlayed onto the stone, surrounded by a halo of white round brilliant diamonds weighing 0.89 carat.
The zircon is of fine quality and clarity, with excellent colour saturation and brilliance. The art of inlaying uncut diamonds--known as "polki" in India--is an age-old technique that has been continuously perfected with time, and it gives a unique identity to the gemstone. The inlayed diamonds bring an esoteric feel to the pendant necklace, super-positioning classic Indian jewellery making technique with modern gemstone cutting and polishing. The design is purposefully simple yet elegant, to bring attention to the centre gem. It is a lightweight yet sturdy pendant necklace, therefore it can be worn daily without any worry. Owing to the colour of the zircon, it can be matched with virtually any outfit that one may have. This pendant necklace is crafted in 18K white gold.
