Necklace and bracelet designed by Gay Freres for Hermès Paris. This is a fabulous suite composed by a necklace-chain and a bracelet. This set was created in Paris France at the jewelry atelier of Gay Freres for the luxury house of Hermès, back in the 1970's. The elegant suite was masterfully crafted with bold links in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and each piece is fitted with concealed push boxed locks and hinged figures 8 for extra safety. Both pieces can be attached together and wear as a single long necklace. Hermès Thierry Hermes, of French and German descent, established Hermès in Paris in 1837. The company originally produced harnesses, bridles, and bags for European noblemen, and went on to produce clothing and accessories as the brand increased in popularity. Today, Hermès is known for leather goods, scarves, ties, menswear, women’s fashions, perfume, watches, stationary, footwear, gloves, enamel, decorative arts, tableware, and jewelry. Gay Freres The company was founded in the 1835 by Jean Pierre Gay and Gaspard Tissot. Historically always in Geneva, today is owned by the Rolex company and located in France. Has been one of the world's finest jewelers for over 170 years and they are known for their commitment to only hand-made jewelry and fashion forward designs with suburb quality and innovative fabrication. Their designs have been included in the collections of the finest retailers and collectors, world-wide. Collateral: This suite is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
