About the Item
Minimalist 18 karat pink / rose gold neckalce with a beautiful green sapphire of 0.25 carats. The perfect handmade jewellery for an unforgettable cocktail night.
This jewel is inspired by the origin of the jewel, the Lake Como in Italy. This is a deep lake located in Lombardy and some locals believe it is inhabited by a very interesting creature. In 1830, a fossil was found near the lake of an animal with a small head, short neck, four flippers, a long tail and full of diamonds inside. Scientists named it “Lariosaurus.” Many people believe that the species is still living in Lake Como. The mystic of this creature is that locals say that everytime someone said that they had seen it, round sapphire appeared on the coast. Surely a stone as precious and exquisite as sapphires must come from a mystical fact.
