About the Item
A platinum (PT950) and diamond long chain, opera length necklace of abstract design. Though the necklace was made post 2000, the design and materials clearly hearken back to the Art Deco period of jewelry design, when light platinum mountings and diamonds ruled the world of high style. The necklace features round brilliant and square cut diamonds of various sizes and various settings, including prong and bezel settings. The necklace is 36 inches in length but can be doubled for a more casual effect, and the total weight of the natural diamonds is 15.34 carats. The necklace bears the makers mark "HAMILTON", and is stamped PT950 for platinum.
