About the Item
An endlessly versatile set of three long gemstone chains. You can wear them together or separately, doubled or single, or you can hook them together to make nine continuous feet of gemminess!
Each stone is set in a little bezel link, separated from the next bezel by a single loop, so each necklace has a LOT of stones -- as a station chain, it qualifies as a local, not an express!
The stones are double cabochons -- rounded on both sides -- so there is no "wrong" side.
The garnets, moonstones and citrines are slightly different sizes. We counted:
90 citrines (approx. 30 carats total) - 4.5mm each
117 moonstones (approx. 25 carats total) - 3.5mm each
102 garnets (approx. 37 carats total) - 4mm each
Each necklace is finished with an 18 karat gold lobster clasp.
We acquired these through an auction house and don't know any of the particulars of maker or origin, but we suspect they're new old stock, dating from the aughts or early 2010's.
Each necklace is 36" long. The weights are as follows:
Citrine chain: 16.4 grams
Moonstone chain: 13.8 grams
Garnet chain: 16.3 grams
The total weight is 46.5 grams.
We're selling these necklaces as a set but are willing to break them up if you would like only one or two. Just send us a message and we'll figure out an adjusted price for you.
