This stud chain necklace by J Dauphin was handcrafted in Paris in 2008 and remains unworn and collectible. The design features several elongated studs hand-painted in glitter blue glass enamel, set along a dark ruthenium (gunmetal)–plated brass chain, with a discreet skull and bone motif at the back clasp—a signature of J Dauphin’s symbolic Parisian design language.
Measuring 24 inches in length, the necklace captures the brand’s early exploration of form, structure, and spiritual symbolism. Each stud is hand-enameled, creating a striking contrast between the metallic sheen and luminous glass. Naturally aged to a subtle patina, it reflects the character and authenticity of its vintage origin.
Founded in 2006 by Johanna Dauphin, the brand merges Swedish minimalism, Italian craftsmanship, and Parisian luxury.
