Indulge in a stunning antique Victorian 47 Inch long 14 Karat Gold Longuard Chain Necklace of great beauty. The chain has a gorgeous pearl brushed gold finished slide. The slide works beautifully. At the bottom is a lovely dog clip with a very fine design. The clip to hold your favorite pendant, watch, fob or locket. The chain has the most beautiful gold finish with a high carat gold color. The chain has a layer of high carat gold applied to the 14 Karat gold to give it the gorgeous bright yellow luster.
This original Victorian - Belle Epoque necklace dates to circa 1860-1900. How rare to find these original Victorian long chains in gorgeous 14 Karat Gold with the very fine dog clip and elegant slide.
The necklace is 47 inches (120 cm) long.
The dog clip is 17mm long and the opening is 6mm by 4.5mm. The dog clip has a hallmark which I cannot decipher.
