About the Item
A beautiful chain necklace from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This thick box-chain is crafted in 9k vibrant yellow gold, and has a fantastic three-dimensional, flexible design. Some of the oval-shaped links are decorated with delicate swirling-motif engravings, and the surface of the remaining links is smooth and simple. The piece secures with a large hook clasp and jump ring. The hook clasp features texturizing-engravings, which add to the elaborate look of the piece. A bold chain, this piece would look splendid worn alone or layered with other Victorian-era chain necklaces!
Measurements: The chain has a total length of 15". The piece has a weight of 23dwt.
Condition: The chain is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold links. The hook clasp is secure and in working order.
