A spectacular and rare late 1980s - 1990s Vintage Donna Karan Logo Charm Chain. The scale and detail in this glorious designer piece reminiscent of the runway, this one warrants archive status. A fabulously long bar and knot chain is adorned with eleven exquisitely worked charms many with a heavy vibe of opulent Etruscan design in each. Others offering simply the iconic DKNY logo tantalisingly on a spinner fob. The charms are set with cabochon stones and large faceted crystal ball in onyx black, garnet red and turquoise blue. Wear long or double for a different look. This find is quite simply, an heirloom and a wonderfully special piece to wear. In 1984, Donna Karan launched her own business to high acclaim in New York, her jewellery always an integral part of her collections. Karan understood the power of jewellery saying, ‘details and accessories are sometimes more important than outerwear'. Vintage Condition: Very good without damage or noteworthy wear. Materials: gold plated metal (brushed/matt effect), resin, glass Signed: DKNY Fastening: Lobster Approximate Dimensions: 98cm, largest charm 5.5cm. Can be worn doubled for a shorter styling.
